A lovely old brass infill smoothing plane with brass bridge, steel sole, Rosewood infills and scroll wedge. Plane has a Ward parallel iron with a Wm. Marples cap iron.
Sole width: 57mm (2 ¼”)
Sole length: 172mm (6 ¾”)
Condition: has some denting to brass body and previous woodworkers name stamp has been faintly marked into sides of plane, see photographs for condition.
